Biography

Tamar works on late medieval and early modern Europe, with a primary focus on English and German-speaking regions. She is broadly interested in the intersection between the history of religion, history of art, and history of science. Her dissertation research centers on biblical geography in 16th century Europe, examining the colouring patterns of biblical maps as a form of religious exegesis, and an avenue for political assertion.
