Biography

Grace Clawson's research focuses on the ways in which remembering is theorized, depicted, and challenged in early modern drama and poetry. Her work considers how memory is adapted in order to comply with social, political, or emotional motivations. Currently, her interests lie in the motivations behind revenge and peace within the work of Shakespeare and his contemporaries.
