Alexandra (Zander) Blitzer '22.5
Biography
Zander came to Brown from Westport, Connecticut and concentrated in History (with a focus in Labor and Economic History) and Early Modern World (with a focus in Literature). In particular, Zander studied early modern playwriting and theater, women’s history and writing, constitutional law and legal history, capitalism and political economy, and political representation in media. Zander was drawn to EMW because of the interdisciplinary nature of the Center as well as the opportunities to work closely with peers, graduate students, and faculty. Outside of her studies, Zander is involved with the Brown Political Review, the Shakespeare on the Green Board, Meiklejohn Peer Advising, the Engaged Scholars program, Brown University Simulation of the United Nations, and Delta Gamma.
