Biography

Adam Teller was born and raised in London, England, completing his undergraduate studies at Oxford University. After this, he moved to Israel, where he undertook graduate studies in Jewish History, focusing on early modern Polish-Lithuanian Jewry, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 1995, he took up a post in the Department of Jewish History at the University of Haifa in Israel, where he stayed until 2010, when he moved to Brown University.
