Imen conducted research in the Canarian archives in Las Palmas, Canary Islands for her dissertation, Untitled Freedoms: Slavery and Manumission in the Canary Islands (1400-1600CE).

Doctoral Student in Hispanic Studies

Benjamin Easton participated in the III Congreso Internacional del CELPYC at the Universidad de Cantabria in Santander, Spain and presented his paper “Quintilianos de la mendiguez: Begging as Rhetoric in the Spanish Picaresque.”

Alexandra Henry traveled to Washington, DC, to conduct archival research at Georgetown University's Special Collections and to do onsite analysis of the Society of Jesus's Maryland churches.
