Doctoral Student in History

Travelled to Istanbul to conduct research at the Süleymaniye Manuscript Library, the Topkapı Palace Museum Library, and the Ottoman Archives.

 

Nicholas Gandolfo-Lucia
Doctoral Student in History

Traveled to the National Archives at Kew in England to conduct research for a chapter of his thesis.

 

Johanna Garzon
Doctoral Student in Egyptology and Assyriology

Presented their paper "Between Tradition and Innovation: Tables as Instruments in Regiomontanus' Kalendarium" at the joint History of Science/European Society for the History of Science conference.

Doctoral Student in History

Traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland to present at the joint History of Science/European Society for the History of Science conference.

Will be in Lisbon, Portugal at the Arquivo Nacional da Torre do Tombo and Arquivo Histórico Ultramarino conducting research on public health in Portugal and Brazil.
